ACERCA DE
A lo largo de mi vida, me he sentido atraído por la ciencia y sus historias. En mis estudios e investigaciones, he incursionado en diversas áreas científicas: química inorgánica para un proyecto de investigación de grado (con honores), química física como asistente de investigación, química analítica y forense para mi doctorado, y sostenibilidad ambiental en cursos de desarrollo profesional.
Me encanta leer y aprender sobre las investigaciones de otros científicos: qué hicieron, cómo y por qué, y luego ayudarlos a comunicarlas. Empecé a trabajar como editora independiente para autores en 2009, especializándome en la edición de textos científicos.
Tengo amplia experiencia trabajando con autores que hablan inglés como idioma adicional (EAL), incluso a través de una pasantía en las Naciones Unidas en Bangkok, Tailandia, durante mi doctorado, y a través de la edición independiente para autores de China y Japón.
Personalmente, soy neurodivergente, madre y profesora (educando en casa desde hace más de 8 años), jinete recreativo, artesana ocasional (tejiendo y cosiendo) y jardinera (con productos comestibles, plantas nativas y cualquier cosa para abejas y aves), y defensora del medio ambiente y la sostenibilidad.
