私は生涯を通じて、科学とその物語に惹かれてきました。私自身の研究活動では、理学士（優等学位）研究プロジェクトで無機化学、リサーチアシスタントとして物理化学、博士号取得のために分析化学と法医学化学、そして専門能力開発クラスで環境持続可能性など、科学の様々な分野に触れてきました。
他の科学者の研究について、何を、どのように、そしてなぜ行ったのかを読み、学び、そしてそれを伝えるお手伝いをするのが大好きです。2009年にフリーランスの著者編集者として働き始め、科学論文の編集を専門としています。
私は、博士課程在学中にタイのバンコクにある国連でインターンシップをしたり、中国や日本の著者のフリーランス編集に携わったりするなど、追加言語としての英語（EAL）の著者と仕事をした豊富な経験を持っています。
私は神経発達障害があり、親であり教師（8年以上ホームスクーリング）、趣味で乗馬をし、時々手芸（編み物と裁縫）とガーデニング（食用植物、在来種、ミツバチと鳥のためのものなど）をしています。また、環境と持続可能性の擁護者でもあります。ニュージーランドの慈善団体に定期的に寄付を行っています。
